Mariesha Collins Killed in Two-Car Accident on Baseline Avenue [Fontana, CA]

Two-Car Accident in Fontana Kills 1 and Injures 5

 
FONTANA, CA (December 14, 2021) – Mariesha Collins was killed in a two-car accident in the northern area of Fontana on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 9:07 p.m. on December 10 at the intersection of Baseline Avenue and San Sevaine Road. According to the Fontana Police Department, a blue Infiniti Q50 was traveling west on Baseline Avenue at a high rate of speed when it collided with a gray Volkswagen Jetta that was northbound on San Sevaine on a green light.
 
Collins, a 55-year-old Fontana resident, was the driver of the Volkswagen. However, she suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, five other people sustained unspecified injuries from the crash.
 
An investigation into the accident is underway.
