CLOVIS, CA (May 13, 2021) – Police arrested Mariana Ramirez following an accident on Shaw Avenue on May 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Sunnyside Avenue.
 
Based on a report, six vehicles collided in the lanes. Police said that 27-year-old Ramirez, a Fresno resident, was a driver of one of the vehicles. Pictures from the Clovis Fire Department showed that the crash damaged several cars.
 
As a result, paramedics recorded multiple injuries. Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Consequently, officers arrested Ramirez on felony DUI charges. At this point, no other details are available.
