Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Venice Boulevard at Wilton Place

 
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, CA (March 14, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident Thursday morning in Arlington Heights.
 
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m., March 11, on Venice Boulevard at Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
Police said the female pedestrian was crossing the intersection in a marked crosswalk when a pickup truck hit her. The impact caused the woman with fatal injuries. She died at the scene.
 
Authorities identified the victim as 40-year-old Margo Spann.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck did not stop after the crash. Police described the vehicle as a Chevrolet Silverado with an extended cab. It had a front left, black wheel and rear left, factory alloy wheel, with possible collision damage to the left side.
