Margarito Trinidad, David Massaro, Lauren Barrett Hurt in Napa Car Crash
NAPA, CA (July 8, 2022) — Margarito Trinidad and two others were injured in a two-car accident on Silverado Trail near Wapoo Hill Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, 47-year-old Trinidad, of Napa, pulled out of a driveway when his vehicle crossed into the path of a southbound 2014 Volkswagen moving at 55 miles per hour. As a result, the front of the Volkswagen plowed into the left side of Trinidad’s Honda.
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded to the scene and took Trinidad, the 34-year-old Volkswagen driver — David Massaro — and Massaro’s passenger — 31-year-old Lauren Barrett — to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, police have not confirmed the leading cause and liabilities of this crash. However, they have ruled out DUI as a possible source. If anyone has more information on this collision, please call the CHP.
