Car Accident near Avenue 204 in Porterville Kills Two People

 
PORTERVILLE, CA (December 7, 2021) – A man and a woman died in a car accident near Avenue 204 and Road 232 in Porterville Tuesday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 9:30 p.m. on November 30. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Avalon rolled through a stop sign and was hit by oncoming traffic.
 
As a result, the male and female occupants of the Avalon suffered fatal injuries and both died at the scene. They were not yet identified at this time.
 
Authorities did not rule out drugs or alcohol as contributing factors. An investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
