Man Suffers Life-Threatening Wounds in San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Poplar Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 10, 2021) — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a pedestrian accident on Poplar Street near Fairmount Avenue.
According to the San Diego Police, the crash happened around 9:25 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a Toyota Corolla struck the 55-year-old man from behind. Per reports, the victim was walking in the lanes of traffic in City Heights prior to the accident.
Soon after, emergency personnel responded and transported the patient to a hospital with life-threatening injuries to his head.
