Man Seriously Injured in Riverside Car Crash on Collett Avenue

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 10, 2021) — A 19-year-old suffered grave injuries in a car accident on Collett Avenue at Pierce Street Saturday morning.
 
According to a police news release, the crash happened around 3:15 a.m. The man at the wheel, who remains unidentified, was driving westbound on Collett Avenue at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, the 19-year-old entered the intersection at Pier Street and lost control. As a result, the 2019 Toyota Camry struck a light pole, with two passengers escaping the accident uninjured.
