CAMARILLO, CA (June 7, 2021) – A man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Lewis Road on June 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Temple Avenue around 4:28 AM.
 
Based on a report, a silver Kia sedan was traveling northbound on Lewis at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it hit the 29-year-old victim just north of the intersection.
 
As a result, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the incident. Subsequently, crews with the Camarillo Police Department, Ventura County Fire, and AMR transported the man to an area hospital for treatment.
 
Afterward, the driver of the Kia stayed at the scene. As of now, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating this pedestrian accident on Lewis Road.
