Pedestrian Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run on 40th Street East near Avenue P-8 in Palmdale

 
PALMDALE, CA (January 31, 2022) – A man sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run accident on 40th Street East, late Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on January 28 at about 11:20 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit a pedestrian near the area of 40th Street East and Avenue P-8.
 
Responding deputies later found the injured victim in the roadway. Emergency crews rushed the man to a hospital for treatment of severe injuries, including leg injuries.
 
Investigators did not release the description of the suspect vehicle.
