Electric Scooter Involved in Accident on Broadway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 21, 2021) – A man suffered serious injuries in an electric scooter accident on Broadway on July 18.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 4th Avenue around 12:33 AM.
Based on reports, the victim was riding an electric scooter at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he struck the windshield of an Uber or Lyft car. Subsequently, he fell to the ground.
As a result, the man sustained major injuries in the crash. So, emergency crews transported the scooter rider to a local hospital for treatment.
Afterward, the driver immediately pulled over and cooperated with the police.
