Man Run Over, Dies by Farm Labor Bus on Almond Street in Dos Palos

 
DOS PALOS, CA (May 26, 2022) — A man run over and killed by a farm labor bus on Almond Street near Highway 33 prompted an investigation, early Wednesday.
 
According to Dos Palos Police Chief Richard McEachin, the accident happened around 3:14 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a farm labor bus ran over a man while he drove out of a driveway of his home.
 
After noticing a bump, the driver exited and found the fatally injured victim.
 
Soon after, officers responded to the scene, where authorities found the victim lying on the ground behind the vehicle. Upon investigating the surface details, police believe the man might have been sleeping prior to the incident.
