Turlock Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Accident on Keyes Road after Running Stop Sign
KEYES, CA (May 11, 2021) – A man was killed late Friday evening after a two-vehicle accident at Keyes Road and Foote Road.
The accident happened just after 11:00 p.m. on May 7. According to the California Highway Patrol, one vehicle did not stop at the posted stop sign when it crashed into a second car in the intersection.
The impact caused the first vehicle to flip over several times, ejecting the driver. That driver suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Coroner’s personnel only identified the deceased as a 41-year-old Turlock resident.
Meanwhile, the second car sustained major front-end damage. The condition of its driver was not immediately known.
CHP officials believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
