Morning Two-Car Crash on Winnetka Avenue in Chatsworth Kills One Driver

 
CHATSWORTH, CA (February 11, 2023) – A man died in a two-car accident on Winnetka Avenue in Chatsworth Thursday morning on February 9.
 
The accident happened around 6:05 a.m. near Nordhoff Street. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a dark-colored car attempted to turn left when it collided head-on with a white Honda Fit. The impact sent the Honda through a wrought-iron fence and into the yard of a home on the corner, where it overturned.
 
The male driver of Honda was trapped in the wreckage and died at the scene. Authorities only described him as someone in his 20s.
 
The driver of the other car only sustained minor injuries and declined transportation.
 
The Los Angeles Police De partment’s Valley Traffic Division is still investigating the crash.
