Fatal Two-Car Accident on 210 Freeway in Monrovia

 
MONROVIA, CA (May 23, 2021) – A man died in a two-car accident on 210 Freeway in Monrovia Saturday afternoon, May 22.
 
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. along the eastbound freeway, just east of Myrtle Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Ford Escape and a silver Ford Focus collided for unknown reasons.
 
Responding officers found one male patient with major injuries. Paramedics rushed the man to Huntington Memorial Hospital, where the unidentified victim later died.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
