Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Amtrak Train near Buena Vista Street in Burbank

 
BURBANK, CA (January, 2022) – A man was killed in a train accident near Buena Vista Street and Vanowen Street Thursday, December 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:00 a.m. According to the Burbank Police Department, the man was either standing or walking on the tracks when an Amtrak Coast Starlight train struck him.
 
The victim, whose identity was not immediately available, died at the scene.
 
No injuries were reported aboard the train, according to the Metrolink.
 
The circumstances of this fatality remains under investigation.
