Man Found Dead after Suspected Accident on Cesar Chavez Street in Coachella

 
FRESNO, CA (August 6, 2021) – Police found a man killed in a suspected hit-and-run accident in the 49600 block of Cesar Chavez Street on August 4.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Park Lane shortly before 8:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, Riverside County sheriff‘s deputies with the Thermal station first reported the body of an adult male on the road. However, no other details were immediately available.
 
At this point, deputies along with investigators are conducting a death investigation. In addition, they will release more information once they become available.
