MADERA, CA (November 15, 2021) — One person died in a suspected DUI accident on Highway 99 in Madera on Thursday, November 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Highway 99 near Avenue 13.
 
Officials said a vehicle crashed while moving northbound on the frontage road to southbound Highway 99.
 
The impact ejected the male driver from the vehicle and medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
