Man Dies in Tulare County Rollover Crash on Avenue 300

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (December 13, 2021) — A man died in a rollover accident on Avenue 300 near Highway 198 on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened around 3:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a Chevy Blazer drove eastbound on Avenue 300 over pooling water. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the car overturned into an orange grove.
 
A 44-year-old man from Exeter was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics tended to four other people in the car who suffered minor wounds.
 
At this point in the investigation, authorities have ruled out alcohol and drugs. However, an investigation into what led to the accident and other factors remains.
