54-Year-Old Driver Dies in Rollover Accident on Auberry Road

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 2, 2021) – A 54-year-old man died in a rollover accident on Auberry Road in Fresno County.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the rollover accident happened Sunday shortly before 8:00 a.m. near Shady Pond Lane.
 
CHP officials said a car was traveling westbound on Auberry Road when it lost control and drifted off the north side of the roadway. It then rolled down an embankment. The vehicle collided with a rock before coming to rest.
 
As a result, the driver suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Is it unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the rollover accident on Auberry Road. Further investigation is underway.
