GLEN AVON, CA (January 20, 2022) – A man was killed in a rollover accident on 60 Freeway in Glen Avon, late Tuesday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:30 p.m. on January 18 at the Country Village Road off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling on the freeway when it lost control. It then overturned seven times before coming to rest.
 
Responding officers found the man’s dead body on the dirt shoulder. The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
 
Emergency personnel found one woman trapped inside the vehicle. It is unknown if the woman sustained injuries from the crash.
 
Meanwhile, another man walked away from the crash site and down the hill.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and factors involved.
