Man Dies in Police Chase Accident on Pershing Avenue

 
STOCKTON, CA (February 10, 2022) — A man died in a police chase crash on Pershing Avenue near Michigan Avenue on Wednesday.
 
According to Stockton Police, the chase began around 2:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a man tried evading police officers and led them on a pursuit. Subsequently, the driver crashed into a tree on Pershing Avenue near Michigan Avenue.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and brought the man to a hospital, where he died shortly after.
