Fatal Pedestrian Accident on West Ocean Avenue in Lompoc

 
LOMPOC, CA (February 4, 2021) – A 69-year-old man died Thursday evening after a pedestrian accident on West Ocean Avenue.
 
The accident happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Ocean Avenue.
 
Police said the pedestrian was in the area when a vehicle struck him. Responding emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be a factor.
