Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car at Walker Avenue and Gage Avenue

 
BELL, CA (August 16, 2022) – A man died in a pedestrian accident at Walker Avenue and Gage Avenue in Bell on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 9:00 p.m. on August 13. According to the Bell Police Department, a Dodge Charger crashed into a sedan at the intersection and then careened into three parked vehicles and the pedestrian.
 
The pedestrian, a Hispanic man believed to be in his 50s or 60s, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
No other injuries were reported, police said.
 
The driver of the Dodge remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
An investigation is ongoing and no criminal charges have been filed at this time.
