Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway in Culver City

 
CULVER CITY, CA (April 26, 2021) – A man died March 11 in a pedestrian accident on Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Culver City.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:20 a.m. near the Robertson Boulevard off-ramp.
 
First responders found 23-year-old pedestrian Alexis Sierra lying in the roadway with major injuries. However, they pronounced Sierra dead at the scene.
 
Officers issued a SigAlert shortly after 4:00 a.m., blocking all lanes at Robertson Boulevard for an unknown duration while they worked on the scene.
 
Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
