Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Perris Boulevard

 
PERRIS, CA (January 21, 2021) – A man was killed last month after a pedestrian accident at Perris Boulevard and San Jacinto Avenue in the city Perris.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Perris Station, the accident happened around 5:34 p.m. on January 21.
 
Sheriff’s deputies said a gray 2012 Nissan Sentra struck an adult male pedestrian. The impact caused major injuries on the victim.
 
Arriving units rushed the pedestrian to Riverside University Health Systems Hospital, where the victim later died. The identity of the man is not being released at this time.
 
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene.
 
Authorities said alcohol or drugs did not appear to be a factor in this accident. An investigation is ongoing.
