86-Year-Old Man Dead after Pedestrian Accident on Las Posas Road near Temple Avenue in Camarillo

CAMARILLO, CA (May 3, 2022) – An 86-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Las Posas Road on Friday afternoon.
According to the Camarillo Police Department, the incident happened on April 29, at about 12:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a car hit the pedestrian at the intersection of Los Posas Road and Temple Avenue near the Camarillo Village Square.
Emergency crews transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
