32-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Minivan on Highway 221 in Napa

 
NAPA, CA (November 29, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 221 in Napa on Friday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:00 a.m. on November 25, just near Napa Valley College. CHP officials said the male pedestrian was walking on the highway when a 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan struck him.
 
The impact caused the man fatal injuries and he died at the scene. Authorities only identified him as a 32-year-old Napa resident.
 
After the crash, the road near the crash site was closed for about 90 minutes. It was reopened around 6:45 a.m.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
