Man Dies in Scripps Ranch Pedestrian Crash on Highway 163

 
SCRIPPS RANCH, CA (August 10, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 163 near the 15 Freeway Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 8:32 p.m. Under unknown conditions, a vehicle struck the pedestrian near the transition to the 15 Freeway.
 
As a result of the impact, the victim suffered fatal injuries. At this time, police have withheld this name pending notification of next of kin.
