Pedestrian Accident on Folsom Boulevard, Man Dead and Another Injured

 
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (February 4, 2021) — One man died in a pedestrian accident on Folsom Boulevard near Routier Road Friday night.
 
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the fatal accident happened at approximately 9:00 p.m. Upon receiving the call, police responded and found an unconscious man in the parking lot of a business. Additionally, they found another male victim with minor injuries.
 
As detectives investigated, they determined that the driver involved had fled the scene prior to their arrival.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and pronounced the first victim dead and transported the second patient to a hospital for treatment. As of now, officials have not released the fatal victim’s name pending notification of next of kin.
