Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Fair Oaks Avenue in Sunnyvale

 
SUNNYVALE, CA (April 26, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident at Fair Oaks Avenue and East Taylor Avenue in Sunnyvale on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:20 p.m. on April 22. According to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, the man was heading eastbound across Fair Oaks Avenue when a northbound vehicle struck him.
 
Firefighters arrived and found the man suffering from major injuries. They attempted saving him, but he died at the scene.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
