66-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Pickup Truck on Dublin Boulevard in Dublin

 
DUBLIN, CA (July 9, 2022) – A 66-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident at Dublin Boulevard and Hansen Drive on Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 9:10 a.m. on July 4. According to the Dublin Police Department, the man was walking northbound across Dublin Boulevard when a Ford F-150 pickup truck turning eastbound onto Dublin from Hansen struck him.
 
As a result, the man suffered significant injuries. Responding paramedics attempted saving him, but he died at the scene.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Police said neither drugs or alcohol appear to be factors in the crash. They asked witnesses or anyone with further information to call Dublin police at 925-833-6670.
