SAN DIEGO, CA (February 3, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Coronado Avenue near Green Bay Street on Tuesday evening.
 
According to San Diego Police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened in the Nestor neighborhood of San Diego around 6:00 p.m.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a 29-year-old man headed eastbound in a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta struck the 42-year-old man who walked into the path of his car.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
