Man Fatally Struck in Orange Pedestrian Accident on Chapman Avenue near Main Street

 
ORANGE, CA (April 6, 2022) — A man died after a pedestrian accident on Chapman Avenue at 8:17 p.m. on Sunday, April 3.
 
According to reports, a female adult drove a Dodge minivan west on Chapman Avenue west of Main Street. Then she struck a man on the roadway.
 
Officials responded to the area and found the male adult lying in the number three lane in the 1500 block of west Chapman Avenue. Medics pronounced him dead.
 
The driver remained at the scene. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor for the driver.
 
Officials closed all westbound lanes of Chapman Avenue from Main Street to Feldner Street for around six hours.
