Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Two Vehicles on Bellflower Boulevard in Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (January 24, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident at Bellflower Boulevard and Beach Drive in Long Beach, late Friday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:50 p.m. on January 21. According to the Long Beach Police Department, a 2002 Acura sedan was traveling southbound on Bellflower Boulevard. After that, it struck the pedestrian, who was trying to cross Bellflower outside of a crosswalk.
 
Immediately after the initial crash, a 2005 Honda Pilot also hit the pedestrian.
 
When paramedics arrived, the pedestrian already died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, both drivers stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
