Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Pickup Truck on Bear Valley Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 10, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Bear Valley Road in Victorville early Tuesday morning, August 9.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:46 a.m. along the 18200 block of Bear Valley Road, just west of Jacaranda Avenue, in front of Victor Valley College. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, a white pickup truck struck the male pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
 
First responders found the victim lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The male driver involved remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. The pickup truck had front-end damage.
 
Deputies shut down a stretch of Bear Valley Road between Spring Valley Parkway and Jacaranda Avenue for the investigation.
