PARLIER, CA (May 21, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Academy Avenue near Parlier Avenue Tuesday night.
 
According to the Parlier Police Department, the incident happened around 8:53 p.m. For unclear reasons, the 62-year-old man was walking in the middle of the road when he was struck by a female driver.
 
As a result of the crash, the man sustained fatal injuries. The woman stayed at the scene for investigations.
