Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Lincoln Park Pedestrian Accident

 
LINCOLN PARK, CA (January 17, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 805 Freeway in Lincoln Park on Friday night.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:15 p.m. on January 14 just south of Market Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian walked onto northbound side of the freeway when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused the pedestrian fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash.
 
At this time, an investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
