Vehicle Fatally Strikes Pedestrian Walking along 22 Freeway in Westminster

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (February 9, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 22 Freeway in the Westminster area Wednesday morning on February 8.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:15 a.m. at Beach Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking westbound on the freeway when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused the victim fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
The circumstances of the death are still under investigation.
