RIALTO, CA (May 12, 2021) – A man died in a pedestrian accident on 210 Freeway Friday morning, May 7.
 
The accident happened around 5:06 a.m. near Riverside Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 60-year-old white male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Rialto Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash. It is also unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor.
