Early Morning Pedestrian Accident on 210 Freeway in Pasadena Ends in Fatality

 
PASADENA, CA (December 21, 2021) – A man was killed in pedestrian accident on Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena early Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:02 a.m. on December 20, along the westbound lanes of the freeway at Lake Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when at least one vehicle struck him.
 
The victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
Meanwhile, it is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still trying to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
