Pedestrian Walking in Traffic Lanes on 10 Freeway Struck and Killed in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 29, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway in San Bernardino early Friday morning, August 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:12 a.m. just after the Waterman Avenue exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, the white male adult pedestrian was walking in the traffic lanes of eastbound freeway when a vehicle struck him.
 
When officers arrived, they found the man unresponsive in the roadway. Despite life-saving efforts, the man died at the scene.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
