Man Dies in Malibu Motorcycle Accident on Pacific Coast Highway

 
MALIBU, CA (May 17, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Mulholland Highway on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened around 4:19 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a car and a motorcycle collided near Leo Carrillo State Beach.
 
As a result of the collision, one victim – described as a male – suffered fatal injuries.
 
Soon after, officers and paramedics responded to the scene and the Malibu Public Safety released an alert of the closure of all Highway 1 lanes.
 
At this time, authorities released no details on the fatal victim’s name or the manner in which the crash occurred. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm any unclear details. If witnesses would like to help the CHP, please call the authorities.
