Speeding Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Vehicle on West Boulevard in Hyde Park

 
HYDE PARK, CA (January 23, 2023) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on West Boulevard in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles Saturday evening on January 21.
 
The accident happened around 8:22 p.m. at 60th Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle southbound on West Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he collided with a northbound vehicle that was making a turn in the intersection.
 
The impact of the collision caused the man fatal injuries and he died at the scene. Authorities only described him as someone in his 40s.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was involved. An investigation into this accident is ongoing.
