Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into Parked Car on South Bear Creek Drive in Merced

 
MERCED, CA (July 18, 2022) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on South Bear Creek Drive in Merced on Saturday night, July 16.
 
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. at Glen Avenue. According to the Merced Police Department, the 34-year-old victim was riding his motorcycle with a 27-year-old man when they crashed into a parked car along the curb.
 
First responders rushed both men to a hospital, where the 34-year-old man died.
 
Police said the deceased was not wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old man remains in serious but stable condition at a local trauma center.
