Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Road 6 in Chowchilla

 
CHOWCHILLA, CA (February 26, 2021) – A man was killed after a motorcycle accident on Road 6 at Highway 152 Thursday, February 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Volvo sedan was traveling southbound on Road 6 when it pulled into the traffic lanes of Highway 152 into the path of the motorcycle.
 
The motorcycle then slammed into the left-hand door of the sedan, ejecting the rider.
 
First responders tried saving the rider, but he died at the scene.
 
The female driver of the sedan stayed at the scene and was not injured.
 
Authorities did not release the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
 
One lane of traffic on both sides of Highway 152 at Road 6 have been shut down for about two hours while officers investigated the accident.
