Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash with Pickup on 880 Freeway

 
SAN JOSE, CA (March 30, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle accident with a pickup on the 880 Freeway near Brokaw Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened around 11:57 a.m. on Sunday. For possible speed-related reasons, a 33-year-old man operating a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R 600 struck the rear of a Ford F-150.
 
Due to the impact, the Suzuki traveled into the right shoulder and hit a wood and metal guardrail with an impact that ejected him off the bike.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene, but the unidentified victim died due to his injuries.
 
At this time, police have not released his name and the other factors that contributed to the crash. However, an investigation into this crash should confirm more details.
