Fatal Motorcycle Accident near Nees and Millbrook Avenues

FRESNO, CA (October 4, 2021) – A man died in a motorcycle accident near Nees Avenue and Millbrook Avenue in northeast Fresno late Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:11 p.m. on October 1. According to the Fresno Police Department, the man in his 30s was riding his motorcycle at a high rate of speed. He then collided into the back of a black Jeep that was stopped at a red light.
 
The impact pushed the Jeep about 15 feet forward. The motorcycle skidded to the right, throwing it about 15 to 20 yards.
 
First responders tried reviving the man by performing CPR, but he died at the scene.
 
The driver or passenger in the Jeep did not sustain major injuries.
 
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, which is under investigation.
