Fatal Motorcycle Accident on El Camino Avenue in Natomas

 
NATOMAS, CA (July 6, 2021) – A man died in a motorcycle accident on El Camino Avenue in Natomas Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened just after 3:00 p.m. on July 5. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding his motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with a car for unknown reasons.
 
First responders found the motorcyclist in critical condition. They rushed him to a hospital, where the victim later died.
 
Crews closed the El Camino Avenue from Thelma Avenue to Reiner Way for a few hours while they cleared the wreckage.
 
No immediate information on the involved driver. The victim was also not yet identified.
 
CHP officials are investigating the cause and whether speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
