Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Curtner Avenue [San Jose, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Curtner Avenue near Briarwood Drive in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (July 28, 2022) – A motorcycle rider died in an accident on Curtner Avenue, Thursday morning.
 
According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident happened on July 28, at about 8:06 a.m. A northbound 2009 Toyota sedan attempted to make a left turn from Briarwood Drive onto westbound Curtner Avenue.
 
Then, the sedan collided with an eastbound motorcycle at the intersection.
 
Emergency crews rushed the motorcyclist to a local hospital, where he later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
San Jose police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
