Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Cherry Avenue in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA (October 26, 2021) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Cherry Avenue in Long Beach Sunday afternoon.
 
The crash happened around 4:40 p.m. on October 24 in the 3800 block of Cherry Avenue. According to the Long Beach Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle.
 
The impact caused the motorcyclist fatal injuries and he died at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown at this time if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
